Agricultural workers in Jiha-ri, Phangyo County, Kangwon Province of the DPRK, received new houses which were built as befitting the Korean-style rural civilization.
The village where dwelling houses nestle in the sunny place in conformity with the natural and geographical conditions of the intermediate mountainous area shows the daily-changing socialist countryside.
A ceremony of moving into new houses took place on August 24 attended by officials of the Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers in Kangwon Province and Phangyo County. A congratulatory speech was made, house licences were conveyed and speeches were made.
When house-moving began, the village was in a festive atmosphere, full of excitement and cheerful dances of the farmers who became owners of the new houses.
Officials shared joy with the owners of the new houses.
