Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Lee Jae Myung of the ROK showed his true colors as a hypocrite to the whole world.

On August 25, he said in a speech at the U.S. Centre for Strategic and International Studies that he would modernize the ROK-U.S. alliance in keeping with the change in the security environment and that the two countries would strongly counter someone's provocation.

He even insulted us as a "poor but fierce neighbour" and then talked about the unreasonable "denuclearization".

It was a crucial occasion and an adequate opportunity to prove why the ROK is called the enemy and a base clan.

To begin with, the ROK is a dyed-in-the-wool hostile state which set the policy of confrontation with the DPRK as its state policy.

The ROK Constitution reads "the territory of the ROK is the Korean peninsula and its islands". And more than ten regimes have been replaced in the ROK, but the anti-DPRK keynote remains unchanged.

The same is true of the Lee Jae Myung regime.

However, it was necessary for it to show the distinction with the Yoon Suk Yeol regime which was beaten by public opinion in the ROK and abroad as it drove the relations with us to the worst in history.

So Lee Jae Myung pretended that he had a will to restore the relations with the DPRK, saying that the dialogue with the DPRK had been stopped by the preceding regime and that a tangled skein should be carefully unreeled with perseverance and if small actions are piled up like pebbles, the mutual trust will be restored and the road of peace will be widened.

But Lee Jae Myung did not hide his real intention and revealed his true colors as a confrontation maniac, after 80-odd days of his office only and ten days just after making such plausible remarks as "pebble".

His behavior abroad clearly proved that the ROK's scheme for confrontation with the DPRK can never change and the DPRK's understanding and judgment that the ROK tamed with the heinous anti-communist idea and spirit is the unchangeable enemy are correct.

At the same time, Lee Jae Myung, with his unveiled confrontational intention, gave irrefutable evidence to prove why his remarks about "denuclearization" are a sheer sophism.

Availing ourselves of this opportunity, we once again remind him of the fact that our position as a nuclear weapons state is an inevitable option that correctly reflects the hostile threat from outside and the change of the structure of the world security dynamics.

In order to change our nuclear policy permanently fixed in the supreme law and basic law of the state according to the general will of the DPRK people, it is necessary to change the world and the political and military environment on the Korean Peninsula.

We remain unchanged in our stand not to abandon the nuclear weapons, the prestige and honor of the state.

The "denuclearization" much touted by the ROK had already become extinct theoretically, practically and physically.

This being a hard reality, Lee Jae Myung's talk about the "theory of three-stage denuclearization" and "denuclearization" is little short of a naive dream like trying to catch a cloud floating in the sky.

It is a daydream for the ROK, the one and only political poor in the world who has offered all its sovereignty to the U.S., to cherish an absurd hope for "denuclearization" unaware of the nature of the nuclear issue of the DPRK.

Lee Jae Myung should understand that if he continues to be engrossed in a wild dream about "denuclearization" like a "familial disease", it will not be helpful to anyone, to say nothing of the ROK. -0-
