Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of various sectors.

Going round the railway section between Jongmunri Railway Station and Wihwado Railway Station and the embankment on the shore of the Amnok River, he stressed the need to pay attention to qualitatively building the compound of Wihwado Railway Station and ensuring the intensity of railway so as to improve its functionality and practicality as it is built into a comprehensive transport center.
At the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, the premier called for decisively improving the quality of castings and steel castings in the process of producing materials and for actively introducing advanced processing methods to satisfactorily produce and supply custom-built equipment necessary for various sectors of the national economy.
The field consultative meetings discussed the issue of ensuring timely supply of materials necessary for the construction of the 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area and supervising the construction in a responsible manner, the issue of giving importance to the management of talents and realizing the integration of production and scientific research at enterprises and the issue for relevant units to actively conduct an organizational work for producing goods under contract. -0-
