A meeting took place on the spot on September 11 to convey a congratulatory message from the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the workers, technicians and officials of the Sodusu Power Station on the occasion of its 60th founding anniversary.
Present there were Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and officials and employees of the power station.
Kim Tok Hun conveyed the congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the WPK to the workers, technicians and officials of the power station.
The WPK Central Committee in its congratulatory message warmly congratulated the workers, technicians and officials of the Sodusu Power Station on having defended the Party and the leader through their dynamic drive for electricity production with their boundless loyalty to the duty of the heroic working class of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il defending the lifeline of the national economy for the past 60 years.
The message stressed that the steady upsurge in production at the large-scale hydroelectric power station associated with the immortal leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung, who gave instructions hundreds of times to the power station to guide its construction and operation, and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who visited the power station twice to teach scientific ways of operation and encouraged its workers with his warm love and trust, has always been a source of great strength for the WPK.
The WPK Central Committee in its congratulatory message highly praised the mental world and feats of the workers, technicians and officials of the power station who are dynamically pushing ahead with production with their ardent patriotism and loyalty and unyielding efforts, cherishing the slogan of faith "Let us support the Party with increased electricity production!"
At the meeting speakers expressed their resolution to firmly defend the outpost line of building an economic giant by producing more electricity, bearing deep in mind the honour of receiving the congratulatory message of the Party Central Committee.
