Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Sports Science in the DPRK achieved valuable research successes conducive to the development of professional sports techniques.
Its researchers designed the comprehensive system of measuring and evaluating the physical training on their own and developed devices to be installed in the relevant equipment, thus providing a guarantee for scientific control of teaching and training.
They manufactured a training instrument for the gymnasts, which is effective in acquiring various skills of the pommel horse event.
They also stepped up the research into the method of providing nutrition to players of various sporting events according to their physical exhaustion by training in every stage, thus contributing to putting the body condition control and nutrition supply on a scientific basis.
They discovered the physiological and biochemical changes of players in the course of training to make it possible to organize and guide the teaching and training in a more scientific way.
