The Ulmil Restaurant is situated in the picturesque Moranbong area in Pyongyang.
This not-so-big service facility is popular with customers for soft drinks and distinctive dishes.
There are places serving tea and coffee, roast foods and sushi as well as a dining hall.
The tea and coffee shop is very cosy and peaceful, while the dining hall is spacious and refreshing.
The dining hall is always full of customers at dinnertime.
Many people spend a good time there with their family members or friends after a day’s work.
The froth on Taedonggang beer is very tempting and a variety of dishes are appetizing, such as cold and hot dishes and national and world-famous foods.
Many people order the restaurant packed lunches for such joyful outings as picnic, school trip and sports meeting, as it serves distinctive delicious foods.
Customers are lured onto the third floor where savoury sushi and roast foods are served.
The sushi dining room, where the raw fish sushi is served, has a refreshing environment as the walls portray white-crested waves.
Diners say that the dishes seem to taste better as they can see cooks prepare sushi with live fish on the kitchen table in an instant.
According to cook Choe Yong Il, customers often request an assortment of sushi on the menu which enables them to taste various kinds of seafood one by one, including shrimps and shellfish.
And the restaurant serves over ten kinds of roast foods and roast Songi mushroom is famous in particular.
“‘Kind service and tasty foods’ is what customers speak of our Ulmil Restaurant. We will work harder without being flattered,” said a service staffer of the restaurant.
