Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave a reception at his embassy on the 25th on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
Invited to the reception were Kang Yun Sok, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, officials concerned and members of the foreign diplomatic corps in the DPRK.
Present there were staff members of the Chinese embassy and Chinese guests staying in the DPRK.
In his speech at the reception, Wang Yajun said the People's Republic of China is firmly advancing along the road for the happiness of the people and rejuvenation of the nation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
He stressed that the Chinese side has willingness to thoroughly implement the important common understanding reached by the top leaders of the two parties and two countries and make greater progress in the China-DPRK relations together with the Korean side.
He expressed the belief that the Korean people would win new and greater victory in the journey for promoting the socialist cause of Korean style under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
In his speech, Kang Yun Sok said over the past 76 years the Chinese nation has waged a vigorous struggle to build the socialist society with the Chinese characteristics, increasing the overall strength of the country and heightening its international prestige. He expressed the stand to make joint efforts with the Chinese comrades for strengthening and developing the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations according to the noble intention of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries in the future, too.
