Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an editorial article says that the Workers' Party of Korea, a prestigious and powerful revolutionary Party, has performed lots of immortal distinguished feats for the country, the people, the times and mankind through its seasoned leadership and gigantic practical struggle.
The 80-year-long history of the WPK is the one in which it has set the great Juche idea as the only guiding idea and advanced and won victory by dint of its truth, the article says, and goes on:
President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , the outstanding thinkers and theoreticians and strategists, put forward the scientific lines and strategies and tactics based on the Juche idea in each period and at each stage of the developing revolution. Therefore, our Party has covered the road of victory without any mistake, deviation, failure and twists and turns.
It was the greatest honor and fortune for the Party, the state and the people to hold the great Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem at a crucial time when the destiny of the country and advance or retreat of the revolution are decided.
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the action programs and strategies and tactics for bringing about a new revolutionary turn in all fields including politics, military affairs, economy and culture through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.
He ushered in a heyday of the Party building in a new era by embodying the ideal and spirit of the Party founding and thus put the leadership ability, fighting efficiency, prestige and traits of the WPK on the highest level. This is an extraordinary feat performed by him.
The WPK is a powerful Party which creates a new history by adhering to the Juche-oriented theory of giving importance to ideology and giving full play to the strength of the masses.
It is the unique fighting mode of the WPK to put forward the grandiose goals in succession, never feeling contented in the work for the people, and stubbornly implement them at the highest level.
The cause of the WPK is invincible forever thanks to the powerful might of such harmonious whole in which the Party makes selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, fearless of all kinds of hardships, and the people remain loyal to the Party, being deeply moved by the love and affection of the Party. -0-
