Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from Chinese President

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China on October 9.

The reply message said:

Comrade General Secretary,

I express my heartfelt thanks to you, Comrade General Secretary, for sending a passionate and sincere message of greeting on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

For 76 years after the founding of new China, the CPC has united and led the peoples of different nations across the country, thus successfully paving the way to socialism with the Chinese characteristics and entering the new course for comprehensively building a modern socialist state. And the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has entered an irreversible historical course.

China and the DPRK are good neighbors, good friends and good comrades sharing destiny and helping each other and the traditional friendship between the two countries is growing stronger with the passage of time.

Days ago, you, Comrade General Secretary, visited China and participated in the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. And I met with you, Comrade General Secretary, again and prepared with joint efforts a blueprint for the development of the relations between the two parties and the two countries.

The Chinese side is ready to carry forward and further develop the traditional China-DPRK friendship to boost friendly exchange and mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen strategic cooperation in international and regional affairs and provide the peoples of the two countries with better welfare and, at the same time, jointly defend peace and stability of the region and international fairness and justice together with the Korean comrades.

I believe that the Korean people will surely achieve fresh and greater successes in the cause of building socialism under the steadfast leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by you, Comrade General Secretary.

I wish you, Comrade General Secretary, good health and success in all your work.
