The party and government delegation of the People's Republic of China led by Li Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, left Pyongyang on the 11th after paying an official goodwill visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and participating in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Koreaat the invitation of the Central Committee of the WPK and the government of the DPRK.
The national flags of the DPRK and China were fluttering on the flagpoles at the Pyongyang International Airport and guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were lined up at the apron in front of the terminal.
The delegation was seen off by Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK; Jong Myong Su, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet; Yun Jong Ho, Minister of External Economic Relations; Sung Jong Gyu, Minister of Culture and Pak Myong Ho, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs.
