The embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in China gave a reception on the 9th on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Invited to the reception were Cai Qi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and other officials of relevant sectors of China including the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the State Office for International Development and Cooperation and the People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
Present there were Ri Ryong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to China, and staff members of his embassy.
Speeches were made at the reception.
