Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an editorial says that the whole country is now filled with the great joy and delight in which it splendidly celebrated the 80th founding anniversary of the motherly Workers' Party of Korea as the grand political festival and the great auspicious event of all the people to be specially recorded in the history of the country.
Let us more dynamically step towards the glorious Party Congress with the same spirit and mettle displayed for celebrating the October holiday. This is the revolutionary faith and will of our people going all out in the struggle for carrying out the five-year plan with the pride and honor of significantly celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the motherly Party, the editorial says, and goes on:
It is the ideological and spiritual qualities and the mode of struggle of our people to make a leap forward from the heyday of the revolution to the greatest heyday, not yielding to difficulties and not being carried away by victory.
Our country is advancing not by any special strength, but by the inexhaustible strength of the people, who are convinced of the validity of their cause and inevitability of its victory and have turned out as one, true to the call of the Party, and by the noble patriotic loyalty of all the people who regard the socialist system dearer than their lives and link their destiny to the state's destiny.
Our people are in high spirits as they are advancing toward the glorious Party Congress after celebrating the October holiday with splendor.
Today of our people is wonderful but their tomorrow will be more beautiful and brighter as the great Party guides our people and the latter upholds the leadership of the ever-victorious WPK with one mind. This is the immutable truth of history that our people bear deep in mind again, looking forward to the distant future.
The editorial calls upon all the people to advance more dynamically to successfully accomplish the grand programme for the revolution set forth at the Eighth Congress of the WPK and achieve the prosperity of our great state. -0-
