Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun says in an article that the working spirit of all the people to successfully carry out the tasks for the five-year plan set forth at the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is signally growing with each passing day.
The article notes:
The fierce flames of innovation and increased production on the whole fronts of socialist construction are those of loyalty and patriotism that can be kindled only by the DPRK people who are possessed of the spirit of devotedly implementing the Party's policies as their mental quality.
Great changes and miracles unprecedented in the history of the Party and the country have been made on this land since the Eighth Congress of the WPK.
The difficulties in the course of advance were the most serious in history, but the victory and successes achieved in the first phase of the struggle of development and change for the overall development of socialism were the greatest in the history of nation building.
Today the WPK has the firm belief in the victory of the five-year plan and firm confidence in all its undertakings as all the people are regarding the Party's decisions as sacred ones and devoting themselves to their thorough and perfect implementation.
The victory of the five-year plan is sure to be won thanks to the pure mind and indomitable mental power of the people who unconditionally support and implement the Party's decisions.
The power of the people who are possessed of the spirit of devotedly implementing the Party's decisions as their mental quality is inexhaustible and the cause of the Party supported by the people with such indomitable spirit is invincible.
The article calls upon all the officials, party members and other working people to turn out as one in the drive for fulfilling the five-year plan, bearing in mind once again the importance and significance of the implementation of the Party's decisions, and thus make a positive contribution to greeting the Ninth Congress of the WPK as the one of victors and glory. -0-
