Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang General Printing Plant in the DPRK marked its 80th founding anniversary.
With a deep insight into the role and importance of revolutionary publication and propaganda literature in the revolution and construction, President Kim Il Sung unfolded a plan to build the general printing plant and indicated the tasks and ways for its construction and operation.
Visiting the plant several times, Chairman Kim Jong Il solved all the problems for strengthening its material and technical foundation and led the plant to play its core role in the sector of printing industry of the country.
Thanks to the love and trust of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the plant is successfully fulfilling its mission and duty as a powerful publishing and printing base of the Workers' Party of Korea.
A commemorative meeting took place at the People's Palace of Culture on November 10.
Present there were officials and employees of the plant and officials, journalists and editors in the publishing field.
