Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory has been known for its "Kkotmangul"-brand products across the DPRK.
The factory turning out various kinds of "Kkotmangul"-brand products was remodeled ten years ago thanks to the benevolent measures taken by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to provide the children with tasty and nutritious foodstuffs.
Visiting the remodeled factory one day in November 2015, Kim Jong Un said that when he hears the children's bright laughter, he would be optimistic about the rosy future, however difficult it may be at present.
He stressed the need for the officials and employees of the factory to produce many more nutritious foodstuffs and supply them to the children, bearing in mind that the normalization of production means preserving children's laughter.
Thanks to his loving care, the variety of "Kkotmangul"-brand products has increased in the past period.
The factory has given priority to observing the scientific and technological requirements according to quality indices in production lines. The production lines of candy, baby milk powder, etc. were awarded the food safety management system certificates and several products were registered as February 2 goods.
The factory developed and produced such health foodstuffs as peptide makkoli and parsley powder and is producing more nutritious foodstuffs of Korean style based on natural raw materials good for the growth and health protection of children.
On the basis of scientific confirmation of the rational mixture ratio of additives capable of preserving the taste and nutritive value peculiar to beef, the factory developed beef powder. And it established a method of producing pumpkin powder and made nutritious juice powder with such oil fruits as walnuts and pine nuts. -0-
