It is said that girlhood is the days of a lot of dreams and love.

Assistant doctor Pak Yong Sim at the Unha Polyclinic in Ryongsong District is a girl with warm love.

She has her brother and five other brothers and sister.

She is always busy getting them ready for school in the morning and helping them with their homework in the evening.

She always thinks of what to do for Chung Hyok, a student in his final year at a senior middle school, who likes Taekwon-Do so much, for Chung Song and Chung Gang who are interested in music and for Chung Bok and Chung Sim who are good at school.

It happened when Pak Yong Sim was 16 years old.

Upon the news that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage, her parents brought three orphans in order to lighten the burden of the state even a little.

Pak Yong Sim unbosomed her feelings that the love shown by her parents to her seemed to go to those orphans at that time.

One day she watched on TV a film dealing with an 18-year-old girl looking after orphans and she had an idea of taking good care of her brothers and sister.

She said:

"It was the words of my father that encouraged me.

He said; Love between blood relations is not expressed by words or conduct, but by heart. You should regard them as your real brothers and sister and love them. You are the eldest daughter of the family. If you love, look after and lead them, they will follow you as their sister and then, you will be those as good as blood relations.

At that time, I was so young that I couldn't understand the true meaning of his words."

It was very difficult for a young girl to look after brothers and sister while doing her work.

"It was not so easy to take care of my brothers and sister in place of my father who was always on business trip and my mother troubled with a disease.

There were many things to do for me in addition to cooking and washing."

They were so young that they preferred playing to studying and played on her affection on more occasions. Sometimes, Pak Yong Sim had to wake them up for their homework and at times, she tried to remove their bitter feelings after reasoning with them on their mistakes.

She showed her sincerity and love to her brothers and sister all the more. They followed her as their own flesh and blood and she took care of them with the maternal love.

When she was 23 years old, she asked her parents to bring home two children under the care of their grandmother in her village.

Since then, she has taken care of five brothers and sister.

To them, she was a sister and also a mother.

She said:

"People call me a girl mother. It is nothing as compared with those who have been working in difficult and challenging sectors for 20 or 30 years."

The girl lives with love. Her heart is full of the mother's love which is most beautiful and sincerest in the world.
