Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Congratulatory Message to Lao President

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (LPDR) on December 2.

The message reads as follows:

Dear Comrade,

I extend warm congratulations and greetings to you and, through you, to the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the people of Laos on the occasion of the 50 th founding anniversary of the LPDR.

Over the past 50 years since the founding of the LPDR, the Lao people have made remarkable successes on the journey for defending the gains of the socialist revolution, strengthening the people’s democratic system and achieving the prosperity and development of the country under the leadership of the LPRP.

Expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries would continue to develop on good terms in conformity with the spirit of the agreement reached at our meeting in Pyongyang, I wish you good health and greater success in your responsible work.
