Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from Lao President

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), received a reply message from Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on November 28.
The reply message reads as follows:
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ,
I express my heartfelt thanks to you, Comrade, for sending me a beautiful flower basket on my birthday.
That you, Comrade, sent me a flower basket is not only an expression of your solicitude for and fraternity with me but also a demonstration of the good relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties, two states and two peoples of Laos and the DPRK with a long tradition.
I am very pleased and highly appreciate that the bilateral talks between us were successfully held in Pyongyang early in October 2025 and all the important issues discussed at the talks are being positively implemented.
I am committed to bringing about substantial benefits to the peoples of the two countries and contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the rest of the world by further expanding and developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties, two states and two peoples of Laos and the DPRK with a long tradition through cooperation with you, Comrade, and between the leading officials of the parties and states of the two countries.
I wish you, Comrade, and your family members good health and happiness and success in your noble work.
