Comrade Pak Jong Chon and Comrade Jo Chun Ryong, secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), Comrade Kim Jae Ryong, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Comrade Kim Jong Sik, First Vice Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, paid a condolatory visit to the Russian embassy in the DPRK on December 10.
The leading officials of the WPK Central Committee observed a moment’s silence in memory of Comrade Aleksandr Matsegora who devoted his all to the DPRK-Russia friendship.
They consoled the bereaved family and expressed their regret at the loss of a true friend.
Secretary Pak Jong Chon made an entry in the condolence book.
On the same day, senior officials of ministries and national agencies visited the Russian embassy in the DPRK and expressed their condolences.
