The second year's tasks of the gigantic regional development policy, decided and powerfully led by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to turn all cities and counties of the country into regional bases of the socialist state in a balanced and simultaneous way, have been successfully carried out along with the completion of the hospital and regional-industry factories in Ryonggang County.

Under the WPK's grand policy on regional development, light-industry bases were wonderfully built in twenty cities and counties this year, following last year, and modern hospitals, leisure complexes and offshore farms commissioned in several cities and counties.

This proud reality adding more delight to the era of great changes through practical successes is a precious fruition of the noble people-first idea of Comrade Kim Jong Un, who set it as a historic task that the Party should boldly undertake and surely implement to provide all the people across the country with the happiest life and who has pushed forward with it through powerful leadership practice.

An inauguration ceremony of the hospital and regional-industry factories in Ryonggang County of Nampho Municipality was held with splendour on December 29, marking the end of the inauguration season in the year 2025.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, attended the ceremony.

All the participants extended the highest respect to Kim Jong Un, the great master of creation who is bringing about entities for prosperity on this land every year without fail with his ardent love for the people.

Present at the inauguration ceremony were leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs and other members of the central leadership of the Party, officials concerned, officials and working people of Nampho Municipality and Ryonggang County, soldier-builders and employees of the hospital and factories.

Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, addressed the ceremony.

The speaker warmly congratulated the county people on receiving the modern hospital and light-industry factories on the same day and at the same time in 2025, the first year of the public health revolution in the new era and the second year of implementing the Regional Development 20×10 Policy.

He extended warm thanks to the commanding officers and soldiers of the regional construction regiment of the 3rd Corps for having perfectly completed the projects for the regional construction policy as desired by the Party, true to the inherent duty of the Korean People's Army always faithful to the call of the country and the people.

The entities of transformation which have sprung up in all parts of the country, ranging from its northern tip to its southern end and inland and coastal areas, are associated with impressive stories telling people the aim of the country’s regional revolution and the source of strength of its uninterrupted advance, he said, referring to the great painstaking efforts and devoted leadership of Kim Jong Un who has dedicated himself to carrying out the construction plan which is more wide-ranging and profound than last year.

Indeed, our growing ideal and self-confidence and the dynamic advance of the regional revolution are the true picture of socialist Korea displayed by the seasoned and strong leadership of Kim Jong Un, who possesses the transparent outlook on the revolution that Party policies are the will, demand and interests of the people and regards the ardent patriotic will and the absolute standard that the abundant life led by the people is just national power as the supreme principle in all his revolutionary activities, he stressed.

True to the long-cherished desire of the Party Central Committee to make the regional people well off as soon as possible, we should simultaneously build more structures next year than this year, including modern light-industry factories, hospitals and leisure complexes, in 20 cities and counties and make greater progress and a leap forward in their qualitative aspect, he said, calling upon all the officials to fulfil their responsibility and duty in the creation and construction for the promotion of the people's wellbeing by regarding as the absolute standard Kim Jong Un's policy on regional construction, which they engraved in their mind once again in this inauguration season.

Our extraordinary will and our dynamic efforts will bring earlier the future of prosperity when all the people across the country lead a happy life, the speaker said, expressing the belief that such achievements as today's proud success demonstrating the truthfulness of the Party's policy and the might of Korean-style socialism would be steadily made in the hope-filled New Year 2026.

The participants burst into enthusiastic cheers out of the absolute trust in and boundless reverence for him who saw to it that assets of prosperity were built in their locality and personally attended the significant inauguration ceremony at the end of the year, adding to their pleasure and happiness.

Lovely children presented him with bunches of flowers in reflection of the unanimous gratitude of the people of Ryonggang County.

He sincerely hoped that the county people who greeted the auspicious event of meaningful inauguration would lead a happy life in their local area good to live in.

He met commanding officers of the construction unit that built the splendid hospital and regional-industry factories in Ryonggang County to highly appraise their loyalty to the Party and the country, and sent warm militant salute to all the soldier-builders.

In the course of implementing the expanded regional development policy this year, including the construction of standard regional hospitals in Kangdong County, Kusong City and Ryonggang County, we have made another march for the victorious advance of the sacred cause aimed at practical change of the whole country and accumulated precious successes and experience for putting the regional construction on a definite development stage, he said.

Making the hard-won precious creations serve as powerful engine for the development of socialist public health is a heavy and responsible revolutionary task whose fulfilment is as important as their construction, he said, indicating important tasks to be tackled in operation and medical service at the regional hospitals to be built in cities and counties across the country with this year as the starting point.

He said that all the medical workers of the county hospital should carry out their inherent mission of taking responsible care of the health of the residents with a high level of medical service and sincere devotion, mindful of the intention of the Party placing the lives and safety of the people and the promotion of their health above all else.

He noted that the inauguration of the hospital and regional-industry factories in Ryonggang County has marked the successful conclusion of the construction of model hospitals and leisure complexes and regional-industry factories in 20 cities and counties planned for this year and opened up a new phase for further hastening the comprehensive development of socialist construction by relying on the absolute support and patriotic zeal of the people, and declared with pride that the year 2025 would be recorded as a historic year that proved more vividly the validity and vitality of the regional development policy in reality.

He expressed the firm belief that all the officers and men of the regional construction regiments at all levels of the large combined units of the KPA would give fuller play to the indomitable revolutionary spirit and creative mettle peculiar to the KPA, which remains absolutely loyal to the order of the Party and is dedicated to realizing its long-cherished desire, and perform as ever signal feats in the theatres of regional construction for the cause of the Party and the happy life of the people.

Leading officials of the Party and the government went round the newly-built hospital and foodstuff, daily necessities and garment factories, together with other participants in the inauguration ceremony.

The inauguration ceremony marked another occasion that further cemented the belief in the bright future of socialist Korea which will prosper forever along with the victorious fruition of the regional development policy which has powerfully been carried on year on year thanks to the unique state-building ideas of the great Comrade Kim Jong Un and under his wise leadership.
