The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un provided a reception for the art troupe of Korean schoolchildren in Japan who participated in the New Year performance. The reception was given at the Okryu Restaurant in Pyongyang on January 4.
Invited to it were members of the art troupe of Korean schoolchildren in Japan headed by Ri Chol Su, principal of Toshun Korean Primary School, and their parents.
Present there were officials concerned.
A speech was made at the reception.
The speaker warmly congratulated the members of the art troupe of Korean schoolchildren in Japan on the best fortune of having a photo taken with the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, whom they had missed even in their dreams, on the morning of New Year’s Day and participating in the New Year performance.
He stressed that the respected Marshal, who is more concerned for the children in the distance than those near him, is their benevolent father who takes warm care of all sons and daughters in alien lands with a sense of responsibility for their hope and future.
The speaker said that the patriotic cause of Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan) will be more steadily carried forward when the Korean schoolchildren in Japan grow up lively, cheerfully and honestly, adding that the homeland will always make every effort to bring up the children of compatriots and realize their beautiful dreams.
The head of the art troupe in his reply speech extended thanks to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who blessed the bright future of Korean schoolchildren in Japan, reflecting the unanimous mind of Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan.
He expressed the firm resolution to take stoutly the road of patriotism and loyalty, deeply mindful of the earnest request of the respected fatherly Marshal for training the new generations of Chongryon into pillars in carrying forward the baton of the patriotic cause.
The participants in the reception wished Kim Jong Un good health for the eternal prosperity of the socialist homeland and the victory of the patriotic cause of Chongryon.
There was an art performance at the reception.
