Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) — The Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee and associations of sports events of the DPRK are conducting the work to apply scientific and efficient training means and methods suited to the physical constitution and characteristics of Korean players.
The Football Association has studied and analyzed the tactical trends of recent international games and the development orientation of football techniques, in cooperation with researchers of the Football Science Institute under the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, to organize the training in a substantial way.
Weightlifting and wrestling associations have introduced different teaching and training methods and intensified the psychological training to stabilize the minds of players before games and maintain maximum stability and attentiveness.
Boxing and athletic associations have applied innovative training methods to improve the physical and technical abilities of players.
The Taekwon-Do Association has created new training means and methods which combine technical training with physical training, thus improving the abilities and qualifications of players to fully display their game tactics and special skills under any circumstances.
Basketball, volleyball, table tennis, shooting, canoeing and teqball associations are devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to introducing advantageous teaching and training methods of Korean style.
