Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- A chorus of 5 000 members of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade gave an art performance, "Era of Kim Jong Un and Paektusan Hero Youth", at the construction site of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm on January 17.
The performance began with singing in chorus "Song of Youth".
The song represented their pride as the Korean youth who are leading a worthwhile life as heirs to the revolution and paragons of the era under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un .
Through a dialogic poem, the performers told the audience about the loving care shown by Kim Jong Un who visited the construction site of the farm as his first field guidance in the new year and extended new year greetings to the young builders.
The patriotic enthusiasm of the young vanguard, who have built a monumental edifice, symbolic of the era of the Workers' Party, in the island area, was displayed in such numbers as guitar ensemble and chorus and mixed octet.
The performance ended with a choral poem recitation and chorus "We Are Koreans" and "March of Korean Youth".
Members of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade held colorful political and cultural functions such as marching in file while singing songs in chorus and an exhibition of information and motivation means. -0-
