A new spectacular sight of regional development has unfolded in the Yombunjin area renowned as a scenic attraction on the east coast.
The Yombunjin Haeyang Hotel with an accommodation capacity of hundreds of people and the bathing resort, which are furnished with comprehensive service facilities including a cinema, shop, electronic recreation hall and water park, have been built splendidly to provide the Korean people with another cultural recreation centre preserving the charm and features of the seashore so that they can enjoy socialist civilization to their heart’s content.
The Yombunjin Coastal Park, which has taken on a new modern appearance and which is equipped with diverse service conditions and environments, is a monumental edifice encapsulating the people-first idea of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
An inauguration ceremony of the park took place on January 21.
It was attended by members of the central leadership of the WPK including senior Party and government officials, officials and working people of North Hamgyong Province and Kyongsong County, builders and employees of the park.
Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the North Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, addressed the ceremony.
He noted that the distinctive coastal park embodying the ever improving Juche-oriented architecture and the aesthetic view of the present times is the fruit of the noble intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to build creations favoured by the people and representing the times in all parts of the country and keep increasing their number every year and his energetic guidance.
He called on everyone to turn out with one patriotic mind and work harder for the development and cultural efflorescence in the regions and for the everlasting prosperity of the motherland and declared the inauguration of the coastal park, hoping that the people’s laughter would resound louder in this area that underwent transformation and wishing them a happier future.
Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, cut the inauguration tape together with officials and employees of the Yombunjin Haeyang Hotel.
After the ceremony was over, the participants looked round different places of the Yombunjin Coastal Park.
