One day in April 2024, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Hwasong Taedonggang Beer House on Rimhung Street prior to its opening.
Enjoying a panoramic view of the beer house with officials, he highly appreciated that its elevation is really nice and that it was designed in such a way that it can highlight the modern aesthetic beauty and features of the structure as a beer house.
And he said with great satisfaction that it produces the strongest visual effect among all the architectural structures in the country.
Its initial elevation layout was different from what it is now.
Examining its layout several times, Kim Jong Un advised that a jug brimming over with beer bubbles and a beer bottle should be added so that the beer house can be easily recognized even if seen from afar.
That day he also went round some places of the house. Seeing the tables in the balcony on the second floor placed a little away from the railings, he said: The tables and chairs should be brought close to the railings; then the visitors on the second floor would like it because they can drink beer while seeing others drinking on the first floor.
In addition, he gave detailed instructions on the issues including those of televising multimedia on the production lines of the Taedonggang Brewery or on beer, not on dishes, and of putting up better drawings or photos related to Taedonggang beer on the walls of the service hall.
