Schoolchildren in South Hwanghae Province met a war veteran at the provincial art theatre on Monday.
Present at the meeting were youth league officials and schoolchildren in the province.
War veteran Kim Myong Ho talked about the days when they had created a legendary tale of proud war victory, resolutely smashing the armed invasion of the allied imperialist forces under the guidance of the great leader Kim Il Sung.
He handed over the national flag of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the schoolchildren in the name of the war veterans, requesting them to firmly carry forward the history of victory of heroic Korea true to the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Students in their final year at senior middle schools took the platform and expressed their will to perform proud military feats on the road of national defence.
An art performance was given by members of the schoolchildren's art squad after the meeting.
