A national photo exhibition, "Under the uplifted banner of self-reliance", was opened in celebration of the 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
On display there are photos dealing with the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
The photos tell about the history of the revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il who kindled the torch of the revolutionary advance in the new century and the flames of a new upsurge throughout the country.
Among the photos are those showing the devoted efforts of the Chairman who continued a high-intensity forced march for field guidance with his faith and will to make the country prosperous and the people well-off.
Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are also photos dealing with the exploits of Kim Jong Un who is translating the patriotic desire of the Chairman into a brilliant reality.
The photos show the personality traits as a peerlessly great man of Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new era of comprehensive prosperity while firmly carrying forward the brilliant tradition of self-reliance, the eternal vitality of the state and motive force for its advance.
An opening ceremony of the national photo exhibition took place at the Okryu Exhibition House on February 2.
Present there were Jo Myong Chol, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.
Jo Myong Chol made an opening address.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
