Ceremonies to mark start of regional development policy-oriented construction held in Sinphyong and Sonchon counties

Ceremonies to mark the start of regional development policy-oriented construction in the new year took place in Sinphyong County of North Hwanghae Province and Sonchon County of North Phyongan Province on the 7th.
Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Ju Chang Il, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees, officials of the provinces and counties concerned, working people and service personnel of the People's Army.
Addressing the ceremonies, speakers said the factories, hospitals and leisure complexes to be built on a higher level than last year in terms of modernity, economic profitability and prospect are a strong fortress and solid foundation for the civilized life of the people.
They ardently called on the entire soldier-builders, officials and working people to glorify this year when the Party congress is held as a year of fresh progress and leap forward by supporting with single-hearted loyalty the idea and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who leads the great changes noteworthy in the history of growth and development of the DPRK to the dynamic upturn phase with his great pioneering spirit and noble view of serving the country and people.
Another speeches were made by the commanders of the 124th regiments of the Korean People's Army before the start of the projects.
