Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the 78th Day of Army Founding, the DPRK people extend congratulations to the men and officers of the heroic Korean People's Army demonstrating their might in defending the country and building a powerful socialist country.
Under the guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un , the KPA, always recording victories in the sacred colors, has developed into an elite revolutionary army capable of defeating any formidable enemy.
The General Secretary set it as a general goal of army building to model the entire army on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. At the fourth conference of KPA artillerymen and the third meeting of activists at the Movement for Winning the Title of O Jung Hup-led Seventh Regiment of the KPA, he provided a great programme to be consistently held fast to in making the KPA an invincible and powerful revolutionary army.
He raised a hot wind of training within the People's Army, giving field guidance at the KPA Tankmen's Competition-2017, a firepower strike drill of KPA long-range artillery sub-units on the front, etc.
Thanks to the energetic leadership of him, who crossed the raging sea route aboard a small wooden boat to inspect the biggest hotspot and awake the servicepersons to their mission, and duty and feats, the KPA could be prepared as a-match-for-a-hundred revolutionary army.
He frequently visited defence science research bases and dangerous test grounds, standing in the vanguard of the death-defying struggle for the country and the people. Thanks to his devoted efforts, the DPRK rapidly emerged the strongest military power with tremendous defence capabilities.
The security of our country and the victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche are definitely guaranteed as there is the elite revolutionary army possessed of formidable offensive power and overwhelming military muscle capable of deterring and controlling all sorts of blackmail from the hostile forces. -0-
