Groundbreaking ceremony of construction projects for regional development policy held in Ragwon County

The residents of Ragwon County, which is widely known throughout the DPRK along with Ragwonpho associated with the legends of great love, have greeted another day of significant groundbreaking for the creation of assets of civilization and rejuvenation in their locality.
A groundbreaking ceremony of construction projects for regional development policy took place in the county on February 5.
It was attended by officials and working people in South Hamgyong Province and Ragwon County and soldier-builders.
Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, addressed the ceremony.
He said that nice regional-industry factories, a hospital and leisure complex would be built this year in Ragwon County where a splendid fishing village envied by the world was built thanks to the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts of the Party Central Committee which is determined to powerfully lead the new era of regional development toward an uninterrupted upturn.
A worthwhile and honourable struggle for creation, which is aimed at leading the gigantic transformation unprecedented in history to a fresh upsurge, is calling us, he said, appealing to everyone to take longer strides in the advance for the comprehensive development of the state by rallying more closely around the Party Central Committee with loyalty and patriotism so as to adorn this significant year with victories and glory.
After the commanding officer of a 124th regiment of the Korean People’s Army made a speech, soldier-builders launched into construction, operating heavy machines.
