Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) — Greeting the Day of Army Founding, a proud holiday of our socialist state, all the service personnel and people pay the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the founder-builder of the armed forces of the DPRK.
No Kwang Chol, Jong Kyong Thaek, Ri Yong Gil and other commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and commanders of the services and large combined units visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the heroic Korean People’s Army.
The sacred temple of Juche was full of the boundless reverence for the great leaders who performed immortal great exploits in the history of building the Juche-based revolutionary armed forces with their outstanding ideas and extraordinary leadership.
Placed at the statues of the great leaders was a flower basket in the name of the KPA.
All the participants paid high tribute to the statues, reflecting the unanimous mind of the officers and men of the armed forces of the DPRK.
At the halls where the President and the Chairman lie in state, the participants paid tribute to the great leaders in humblest reverence.
The KPA commanding officers made a firm pledge to devote themselves to fulfilling the sacred mission assigned by the times and the revolution on the road of defending the victorious advance of the Juche cause with arms, remaining absolutely loyal to the ideas and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
