A dance party of women’s union officials and members was held at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang on February 8, the 78th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army.
The dance party began with the song “Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung ”. The participants paid the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung who set a world-historic example in building the revolutionary armed forces and provided a military guarantee for the prosperity for all generations to come.
Seen in the faces of women’s union members dancing to the tune of songs such as “Our General Is the Best” was the reverence for Chairman Kim Jong Il who trained the revolutionary armed forces to be the vanguard ranks defending the country and safeguarded the sovereignty and dignity of the state.
The participants enthusiastically danced with the honour and pride of holding in high esteem the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , who has ushered in a great heyday of bolstering up the military muscle with his unique ideas of army building and energetic leadership.
The revolutionary enthusiasm of the women to defend socialism and bring earlier the future of prosperity was fully displayed amid the playing of such songs as “Let’s Sing of Our People’s Army”.
The dance party showed the will of the officials and members of the women’s union to glorify the immortal exploits performed by the peerlessly great men for the building of the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces and demonstrate the revolutionary spirit of the Korean women on the road of advance this year when the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea will be held.
