Youth and students met with socialist patriotic young pioneers at the hall of the youth league on February 13.
Speeches were made by those pioneers who are performing distinguished feats at their posts and workplaces.
Pae Ji Song, section chief of Kim Il Sung University, referred to the fact that he won the first natural science prize of the country by making valuable research achievements for its independent economic development and thus had the honour of being a socialist patriotic young pioneer.
Kim Kyong Rim, a spinner of the Sinuiju Textile Mill who was awarded Kim Jong Il Youth Honour Prize for overfulfilling her national economic plan every year, said that she performed labour feats by going a route of more than 40 kilometres every day, while picturing the benevolent image of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who visited her workplace in June 2018 and watched the spinners work.
Paek Son Jong, captain of the ship Young Heroine, Daughter of the Workers' Party of Korea of the Mundok Fishery Station under the South Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau, expressed her firm determination to make big fish hauls, true to Kim Jong Un’s noble intention of devoted service for the people's wellbeing.
Song Song Ae, a lathe operator at the maintenance workshop under the Sangwon Cement Complex who has made a positive contribution to the increased production of cement by making and supplying hundreds of thousands of part of equipment of various kinds for the past 10-odd years, said that the Party's love for and trust in the young people are the great motive force that has enabled them to perform world-startling miracles and feats. She called upon all the young people to become genuine patriots glorifying the great era of Kim Jong Un.
Then other young people took the floor to express their resolutions.
