Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Congratulatory Letter from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) — The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on Feb. 16.
The letter said that the Chongryon Central Standing Committee pays high tribute to the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the February holiday and extends the greatest honour and the warmest congratulations to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is ushering in the greatest heyday unprecedented in the history of the country as intended by Kim Jong Il.
Kim Jong Il, who was born as the son of guerrillas and grew up to be the great son of the country and people, hearing the gun report as a lullaby in the snowstorm of Mt Paektu during the anti-Japanese war, devoted his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people, the letter said, and went on:
He led the socialist cause to victory with his indefatigable revolutionary leadership for over half a century and left a precious patriotic legacy to be immortal even in the distant future.
As he clearly indicated the road to be followed by Chongryon in each period and at each stage of the development of the movement of Koreans in Japan, it could firmly establish Juche in ideology, create the tradition of unity and patriotism, become an organization with a powerful organizational structure, patriotic compatriots and well-regulated national education system and build a harmonious and powerful compatriots’ community.
The history of Chongryon Chairman Kim Jong Il glorified all his life is being carried forward more brilliantly as it is led by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Chongryon would glorify 2026 as a year of a new turn and transformation by upholding the revolutionary ideas and leadership of Kim Jong Un with single-minded efforts, setting forth the clear goal and strategy of the new struggle period for celebrating the 80th anniversary of its formation at its 26th Congress as clarified in the important May 25 letter and the New Year message and taking a vigorous stride to successfully carry out the patriotic tasks for the first year, the letter stressed.
