A meeting of awarding certificates of delegates to the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea was held at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on the 17th.
The meeting first announced that the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, pioneers of the sacred Juche cause and eternal leaders of the Party and the people, are elected delegates to the Ninth Party Congress according to the general will of the entire Party organizations and members.
Leading Party and government officials made speeches.
They said the Ninth Congress of the WPK is an important occasion for the WPK and the developing revolution in adopting new goals and guidelines of struggle for more dynamically continuing the current of the time of steady creation and transformation on the basis of the proud successes of having opened the great period of pioneering of the overall national development by dint of self-respect and self-reliance.
The WPK is the most militant and seasoned revolutionary Party advancing and triumphing under the idea and leadership of the great Comrade Kim Jong Un and herein lie the invincibility of the WPK taking care of the country and people with responsibility for their destiny and future and leading them to prosperity and happiness and its absolute dignity and prestige.
The certificates of delegates to the Ninth Congress of the WPK were awarded to the participants in the meeting.
