The Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party recently sent a message of greetings to the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The message sent warm congratulations and best wishes to the Central Committee of the WPK and all its members and the participants in the congress in the name of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and all its members and the Lao people as regards the significant Ninth Congress of the WPK. It noted that the Ninth Congress of the WPK to be held in the present complex regional and international situation is a political event of great importance to the entire Party, state, army and people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and it is an important milestone in constantly strengthening and developing the WPK.
It expressed the firm belief that the Party's line, policy and strategy would be formulated with success at the current Party Congress and the cause of building a powerful socialist country continue to be steadily led to bring happiness to the people and extraordinarily enhance the role and leadership ability of the WPK on the national and international political arenas. It wished immortality to the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties, two states and two peoples of Laos and the DPRK.
