Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) — The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam sent a congratulatory message to the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea in January.
The message said:
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam extends warm congratulations to the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un and all the participants in the Congress.
We congratulate the WPK on having achieved great successes in socialist construction and the development of the state by leading the fraternal Korean people.
We are convinced that the Ninth Congress of the WPK will be an important milestone to confirm the orientation for achieving socio-economic development and improving the people’s living standards by victoriously attaining the goals set forth by the DPRK.
The Vietnamese party, state and people are always paying deep attention to strengthening the traditional relations of friendship and good cooperation between the two fraternal parties, two countries and two peoples for the interests of the peoples of Vietnam and the DPRK and for peace, stability and progress in the region and the rest of the world.
We wish once again the Ninth Congress of the WPK good success.
