The Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea continues discussions in a responsible way.
Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and other members of the central leadership body of the Party are guiding the study and consultative meetings of different sectors including the economy, national defence, foreign affairs and Party affairs.
The consultative meetings held on February 24 intensified discussions on the orientation and plan of work for each sector and unit on the basis of the report on the work of the Eighth Party Central Committee made by Comrade Kim Jong Un and the essence and spirit of his important conclusion.
The discussions were made with main stress on thoroughly ensuring scientific accuracy and innovative character in applying the general goal and principles of the five-year strategy set forth by the Ninth Party Congress to the socialist construction as a whole.
The study and consultative meetings discussed in detail realistic proposals for achieving gradual qualitative development while stabilizing and consolidating the development foundations laid in all sectors of the national economy including the key industries in the period of the eighth term of the Party Central Committee.
Fully displayed at the consultative meetings are the extraordinary party consciousness and high sense of responsibility of the delegates to make every point of plans of different sectors most scientific and reasonable foundation for perfect implementation of the action programme of our Party. And those participating in the consultative meetings actively presented their innovative and creative opinions conducive to surely guaranteeing success of the new five-year strategy.
Results of the collective discussions are sent to the committee for making draft resolution of the Party Congress.
