One day in July 2024, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Phungo-dong area in the city of Sinpho, South Hamgyong Province, despite midsummer heat.
That day, he headed for a farm in the waters off the Phungo-dong area soon after the consultative meeting of officials concerned held on the spot in order to look round its nursery.
The accompanying officials dissuaded him from going there time and again because it was the sea route on which security could not be ensured. But Kim Jong Un got on a motorboat.
The farther the shore got, the more heavily the motorboat would roll or pitch.
Moreover, nobody could know when the ropes here and there in the sea would tackle the propeller of the motorboat.
When the motorboat reached the entrance to the farm, Kim Jong Un looked with an air of satisfaction at the nursery on the expanse of the dark blue sea.
After a while, he cast his eyes on a place. He saw ropes floating without buoys.
He asked why those ropes were floating on the water.
A leading official in the city of Sinpho explained in detail that they were not buoyed at the farm.
At this, Kim Jong Un kindly said to the official that he became an expert on aquiculture.
When the motorboat reached the middle of the nursery, some officials lifted a dipper in the sea to show him scallops under cultivation.
The moment, the motorboat was heavily tilted to one side. Regardless of it, however, Kim Jong Un carefully looked at the dipper lifted by the officials. And he smiled, saying the scallops are as tiny as a nail bed.
Looking around at the nursery with an air of satisfaction, he kindly told the leading official of South Hamgyong Province that there are more than 10 coastal cities and counties in the province and offshore farms should be built there.
The sea route taken by him on the day was the road of love which could be covered only by the father of the people devoting his all to their happiness.
Thanks to his devoted efforts, the advanced Sinpho City Offshore Farm could be built in the area which had barren land and weak economic power.
