Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- The organizations of the Workers' Party of Korea at all levels are conducting an intensive study to firmly arm all the officials, Party members and other working people with the idea and spirit of the documents of the Ninth Party Congress.

Party organizations in the key industries including the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, the Ministry of Chemical Industry and the Ministry of Electric Power Industry are directing efforts to convincing the officials of the Party's intention to powerfully guarantee the growth and development of the overall economy by qualitatively consolidating the production foundations during the period of the new five-year plan.

Party organizations in the fields of forestry, rail transport and light industry are intensifying the study while orienting it to encouraging the participants to find out realistic measures for qualitatively consolidating and further developing the existing foundations and forces.

Party organizations in the agricultural sector are intensifying collective discussions to bring about a radical turn in agricultural development, including directing efforts to the seed revolution, scientific farming, tideland farming, double cropping and land improvement to provide a sure guarantee for attaining the grain production goal set forth by the Party, raising the level of putting the production of vegetables on a scientific, intensive and industrial basis and holding fast to the new five key factors as the basic direction for putting animal husbandry on a modern and advanced footing.

Officials, Party members and other working people of the Pyongyang Construction Commission are hardening their revolutionary will to dynamically usher in a golden age of construction by firmly adhering to the mode of struggle and advance speed leading groundbreaking at the outset of the year to inauguration at the end of the year.

Building materials, architectural design, land management and other fields and units are also discussing the issues arising in successfully carrying out huge construction tasks and turning the country into a people's paradise more beautiful and better to live in.

Scientists and researchers in the field of scientific research including the State Academy of Sciences are working out detailed plans for developing core technologies for pioneering and running new industry sector, high-tech industry while solving sci-tech problems urgently arising in enhancing the independence and modernization level of the national economy, ensuring the qualitative growth of production and improving the material and cultural life of the people in strict accordance with the main orientation of the scientific and technological work set forth at the Party Congress.
