Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) — Han Chong Song, a wrestler of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, was listed as one of the ten best players for 2025 in the DPRK.
He is a wrestling star who won the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championship and the 2025 World Wrestling Championship.
He, born in Nampho Municipality, trained basic skills with a special attachment to wrestling from his childhood.
After becoming a player of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, he made efforts to prepare himself physically and technically.
It is the opinion of experts that he is an ingenious wrestler with high level of concentration and agility, who is able to apply various techniques according to the changing game situations.
He won a silver medal at the 19th Asian Games and a gold medal at the 37th CISM World Military Wrestling Championship.
He has set the new goal to win the Olympic Games.
Now, he is training to improve various attack techniques supported by strong might and patience.
