The Korean Central News Agency released a commentary under the title "The Expanded Munitions Industry of Japan Is Advancing to the World".
The commentary said the Liberal-Democratic Party and the Yushin Society of Japan recently submitted to the Prime Minister a proposal on lifting in principle the embargo on export of all arms and equipment of their country including the weapons with killing and wounding capacity, and continued.
If the proposal is officially passed via the Prime Minister, the issue of amending the weapon export system will be examined this spring.
Then Japan can export arms and equipment with killing and wounding capacity including fighters, escort warships and submarines to those countries with which it had concluded the agreement on export of "defence equipment" and transfer of technology.
Japan's scheme to openly export offensive lethal weapons without restriction to the signatories to the agreement connotes a dangerous plot.
It is an ulterior intention of Japan to provide an environment favourable for reinvasion by turning the economy of the Japanese Archipelago into the one with main stress on munitions industry as soon as possible and, on this basis, accelerating militarization and creating imbalance of forces in the world.
The road of reinvasion the war criminal state attempts to open with a new weapon export outlet leads to irretrievable ruin, the commentary stressed.
