Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) — The 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival is to be held here on the occasion of the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
The festival will bring together famous art troupes, dance troupes, circus troupes of different countries, overseas Korean art troupes and artistes.
The performance videos to be sent by art troupes and artistes of relevant counties will show the high praise and reverence of the progressive mankind for President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the peerlessly great men.
The festival will also present other colorful art pieces showing the desire of mankind to lead a happy life in a peaceful world without any war and subjugation and the national mood and optimism of peoples of relevant countries.
The festival organizing committee decided to examine the performance videos from art troupes of different countries and edit them in various forms to broadcast them on Korean Central TV and post the accounts of the festival and the results of a jury review on websites including “Korean Arts”.
