The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Luong Cong, President of the SocialistRepublic of Viet Nam, on March 23.
The message reads:
I send the most wonderful congratulations to you on behalf of the Vietnamese state and people as regards your reelection as President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly.
The Vietnamese people are pleased over the important successes achieved by the fraternal Korean people in the past. I am sure that the state and people of the DPRKwould make a lot of new successes in the cause of building a powerful country by displaying the spirit of unity and self-reliance and self-development while consistently implementing the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea under your leadership, thus making a contribution to promoting the socio-economic development, improving the people's livelihood and increasing the potentiality of the state.
I highly appreciate that the traditional friendly relations between Viet Nam and the DPRK were wonderfully developed in the past and hope for cultivating and promoting the relations between the two countries with you so that they can be developed more profoundly, substantially and effectively with each passing day for the interests of the two peoples and peace, stability and development of the region and the world.
