Comrade Choe Son Hui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), received a congratulatory message from Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on March 23.
Vietnam’s Minister of Foreign Affairs in the message congratulated Comrade Choe Son Hui on continuing to work as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and said that he was pleased to see the steady development of the traditional Vietnam-DPRK relations of friendship, personally forged by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and developed by the leaders of successive generations of the two countries.
It is the consistent stand of the Vietnamese Party and state to maintain and promote the traditional Vietnam-DPRK relations of friendship in conformity with the desires of the peoples of the two countries and develop them in a more substantial and effective way, and thus contributing to regional and global peace, stability, cooperation and development, he emphasized.
He expressed the readiness to closely cooperate for developing and promoting as ever the relations between the two countries by building on the successes made in the past.
