Meetings for studying the Juche-oriented ideas of the arts and literature in the fields of literature, stage art, cinematic art and fine art were held respectively between the 7th and the 10th to create a lot of masterpieces this significant year when the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea was held.
Present at the meetings were Jang Ryong Sik, Choe Hak Gun and Ri Yong Nam, Deputy Department Directors of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials, creators, artistes, teachers and researchers of the organs of literature, stage, cinema, fine arts, art education and work deliberation in the capital city and provinces including the Ministry of Culture, the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry, the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea, the Mansudae Art Studio and the Central Committee of the General Federation of the Unions of Art and Literature of Korea.
Instructions given by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the fields of literature, stage art, cinematic art and fine art were courteously conveyed, which was followed by reports and speeches.
The meetings made an analysis and review of the shortcomings and a series of deviations revealed in the creation of literature, stage art, cinematic art and fine art in the past and announced goals of creation and plans of emulation for 2026.
There were sectional short courses for improving the political and theoretical level and practical qualifications of the officials, creators and artistes in the field of literature and the arts.
