Congratulatory message of WPK CC conveyed to officials, scientists and technicians of GFSTK on its 80th founding anniversary

A meeting was held at the People's Palace of Culture on the 17th to convey a congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the officials, scientists and technicians of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of its establishment.
Present at the meeting were Kim Sung Du, Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Song Bin, Chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea and Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, and officials, scientists and technicians of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Kim Sung Du conveyed the congratulatory message.
The message stressed that the 80-year history of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea is a proud history of noble patriotism and loyalty and pure conscience of the officials of the federation and the entire scientists and technicians who have achieved wonderful successes in their work, remaining true to the leadership of the Party.
It highly appreciated the officials, scientists and technicians of the federation who have made a great contribution to strengthening our national might and vigorously advancing the socialist construction along the orbit of self-respect and self-development by dint of science.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
The speakers expressed their resolve to more powerfully demonstrate the might of science and technology in the worthwhile struggle for opening a new turning point of overall national prosperity.
The meeting adopted a resolution.
