Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- More than 100 rice seedling cultivation greenhouses were newly built in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The provincial rural economy committee built a model greenhouse at the Ingye Farm of Hoeryong City and accumulated a lot of experience in its operation. It required cities and counties to set the location and size of greenhouses to suit the actual conditions of the relevant farms while intensifying the control and guidance in order to raise the rice seedling production onto a higher scientific and intensive level.
Onsong County completed the construction of the greenhouse capable of producing vegetables and drying grain.
Kyongsong and Hwadae counties also pushed ahead with the construction of greenhouses and the work to improve the practical ability of cultivators. -0-
