Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- On the shore of Songdowon, a scenic spot in the East Sea of Korea, there is a camp for schoolchildren.
The Songdowon International Children's Camp, where modern campers' dwellings are in harmony with the beautiful beach scenery, has all the things conducive to making the schoolchildren acquire rich knowledge, noble moral traits and strong physical strength.
At the aquarium for rare marine animals and the flower greenhouse, the campers are experiencing a fascinating sea world and rich natural scenery and acquiring wide knowledge.
There are also the mirror house, video-game room, 4D simulation cinema, indoor gymnasium and cooking practice room.
During the winter camping, campers can ski at the Masikryong Ski Resort.
The camp is associated with the loving care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who spares nothing for the rising generations.
The respected fatherly Marshal repeatedly visited the camp under reconstruction and gave detailed guidance so that all its structures and facilities were built into another precious asset to be handed down to the posterity.
On May 2, 2014, he attended the inauguration ceremony of the camp and wished a happy future of the younger generation and spent all day for schoolchildren, watching a football game of the boy footballers.
Children's camping began again on the occasion of the auspicious April holiday, in the wake of the first camping in winter this year. Children's laughter and songs of happiness are heard at the camp all the year round. -0-
