2026 Spring Aesthetic Symposium in Field of Land and Environment Protection held

The 2026 Spring Aesthetic Symposium in the Field of Land and Environment Protection was held through video conferencing at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang on the 6th.
Present at the symposium on the theme of "Period of Overall Development of Socialism and Riverscape" were officials and scientists in relevant sectors such as land and environment protection, urban management, industrial art and science and education.
The participants watched a video program showing the achievements made in the creation of riverscape, which was followed by speeches.
The speakers said a firm embankment unaffected by any natural disasters had been built along with the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm, a large-scale modern greenhouse vegetable producer, at the northwestern end of the country under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. The riverscape in the island area with secure and firm embankment and wonderful surroundings is a model creation brilliantly embodying the Juche-oriented aesthetic idea of the Workers' Party of Korea, they stressed.
They touched on the ways to carry on the river improvement taking an important position in the protection of the ecological environment in a scientific and technological way in accordance with the world trend of development and the actual conditions of the country.
